Why did you decide to use a revenue management system? What are the factors that drove this decision?

 

 I’m a big fan of technology and firmly believe in data analysis. I’ve always been somewhat skeptical of RMS options available at affordable prices—so I’m not talking about major Lybra Tech competitors here. However, I prefer to try things out before forming an opinion. I had come across Lybra Tech years ago during an event here in Rimini, where Stefano Sciamanna, Lybra Tech Co-Founder and Revenue Manager was present, and we had a chance to have an in-depth chat. Lybra Assistant impressed me back then. This year, we decided to install it.

Why did you choose Lybra Assistant RMS over another? What feature of Lybra Assistant did you like the most?

 

We chose Lybra Assistant because it was the one that convinced me the most. Additionally, Lorenzo Magnarelli, CCSO at Lybra Tech, as well as the other members of the customer support team, were willing to give me a very in-depth demo, during which they were professional and transparent. They explained the advantages of Lybra Assistant, its very few limitations, and the future developments of the software. It wasn’t a typical sales approach but more like a conversation with colleagues, which I greatly appreciated and helped me lean towards Lybra Assistant as the chosen solution.

How has Lybra Assistant changed the way you perform daily and strategic revenue management operations? What are the main benefits you have experienced in your work thanks to our RMS?

 

Undoubtedly, my way of working has improved. Before, I used to spend a lot of time managing the various spreadsheets I created. At one point, I even wrote a small software program to help me with this. Now I have much more free time and peace of mind since Lybra Assistant RMS has access to data—such as demand pressure—that I didn’t have before, making the rates more precise than those I could create manually. It’s also convenient to have many events already automatically entered by the system and a ready-made forecast and integrated tool for group displacement analysis. Everything is very simple and fast. It’s easy to use, and I get everything done in just a few minutes each day. Plus, if there are days I don’t have time to look at it, I activate the automation, and Lybra Assistant takes care of everything by itself.

What are the results you got thanks to working with our RMS? (in terms of kpi improvement or revenue increase)

 

Despite weather-related issues in the area this year, all most important KPIs of my hotel are currently showing positive signs:

  • Total Revenue +11%
  • RevPAR +10%

Could you write a short testimonial about Lybra Assistant RMS?

 

Lybra Assistant gets top marks. I’ve also learned some extremely useful and interesting new functions are currently being developed and will soon be launched. I was skeptical at first, but now I’m convinced—it’s an excellent product.

Another thing I love about Lybra Assistant is the support; Jacopo Zagarola, Onboarding Manager at Lybra Tech, is fantastic, always available, highly knowledgeable, and an irreplaceable asset!

Another aspect I appreciate about Lybra is its flexibility during configuration. You can practically configure it however you want, sometimes even compensating for the limitations of some PMS. How to conclude? In a single sentence: Lybra Assistant has won me over!
